oh how i love him

So, the other day. Oakly and Kris were speaking man. They decided it would be an awesome and brilliant idea to start making their own knifes.. Not only knifes, but throwing knifes. So a few days passed and Oakly comes home with a newly made knife.... Throwing knife.... He was so excited he brought home a very large log so that he could practice is awesome new passed time. Of course, I joined him and failed entirely at this new sport. However, it made him happy so I just let it be.. another day passed. I heard Oak pull in the driveway and into the garage. I thought that I would be way funny and scare him so I ran over to were our door is and hid... I waited... and....waited... and... waited.. then finally I was like what the heck is taking him so long?!?!? Its been like 5 minutes. So I guessed that he was feeding our dogs out back so I went to the sliding glass door to find him holding the dog dish in hand and practicing his throwing knife technique... I loved it.

Setting up his target...

Technique. Its very important.

When he realized I was taking pictures....

Love..

Then when all else fails and you can't hit the target, move closer... I love you hun... :)

Then.... The beautiful day of April 19th came to passed. My amazing hushhbands 30th birthday. (he is a dinosaur). Anyway! I have built him up to be so pumped for this day. Birthdays are a huge deal to me and I think that he should make a bigger deal out of them too. So for the passed month and a half he has been trying to guess what I got him. He guessed a Chop Saw.. So... I lead him to believe I got him a chop saw. So the day finally came and I decided it would be a good idea to wrap another decoy present for him. I stuffed that sucker full of blankets.

This was to now become a scavenger hunt. Blankets go in the closet....

The pillow found in the closet goes to the bedroom....

The bowling pin found in the bedroom (chips ahoy included) goes to the garage....

The envelope goes to the mail box....

The Western  Horseman goes to the Bathroom....

Landers toy goes behind the couch....

The rock (which Kris almost totally blew by showing it to Oakly in the first place) goes to the back yard....

The dryer sheet attached to the knife throwing log goes to the dryer....

The gun cleaner kit along with the "man" (downstairs) remote goes... down...stairs....

Where he then found his gift which he then guessed as.... What do you know... a gun (30-06 if you will) before he even opened it.... (this of course was the reason for the decoy)...

He was speechless to the point of after a million seconds I asked "OAKLY, DO YOU LIKE IT??"

The look was priceless...

The rest of his evening was filled with setting up the scope, aiming at items around the house, throwing knifes, eating cake and ice cream and of course visiting with amazing family.

I just would like to make a tribute now to my amazing husband.

Babe,

Your wrangler butt drives me nuts. I love you more than all the stars in the sky and sand on the earth. You are my everything and I am so grateful to have you in my life. I have no idea where I would be with out you. You are my rock and my complete happiness. I know that I will forever love and be so happy with you. You are the worlds best and the most amazing husband in the entire world. Happy 30th birthday
MY Cowboy!

Tiana

Ps. These have NOTHING to do with this post except that I took them the day I found Oak throwing knifes and thought they were amazing.

The sky was gorgeous!

I really love rainbows.

This was taken on Oaks birthday. I love this kid.
